If your left eye twitches, something bad will happen; if the right eye twitches, something good will happen
Do not sit on tables because spirits might sit there or it invites bad luck
Do not leave grains of rice on your plate or your spouse will have acne or pockmarks
Finish all the food on your plate or your future spouse will be ugly
Do not open an umbrella indoors or bad luck will enter the house
Do not shake your leg or you will shake your luck and money away
Say “touch wood” and literally touch wood after saying something unlucky to avoid bad luck
